Please. It's the only way we can track and correct issues.

We also had a very difficult time with a Modbus FBM224, except our end
device was a Prosoft module in a ControlLogix rack.

The FBM224 is supposed to support both RS-232 and RS-485, but..........
We had a no luck getting it to work over RS-232, but we were successful =
in
communicating over RS-485.
We troubleshooted this RS-232 problem for quite some time (using =
breakout
boxes etc), and never could resolve this issue.

Our solution: We used RS-485, abandoned RS-232, and called it a day. =20

Has anyone out there worked with Modbus communications between the =
FBM224
and the Atlas Copco Elektronikon Sequencer? I have a good communications
line between the two and still no talking taking place.

Anyone have any ideas? Like dip switch settings on the FBM224 TA? =20

My next step may be to have the Atlas Copco folks come in and assure me =
they
are trying to send information.

Thanks
