Re: [foxboro] FBM ROM revision unavailable on CP60/100-serie

     Corey,

Yes I have seen the same behaviour. What image are you running in your
CP60's? Is it the "CS" image for 6.3? Also check your IOM files. This
seems to be a hickup in the 6.3, but I can tell you how we fixed this
     problem here.

This will be a lengthy discussion so please feel free to contact me
     directly if needed.

I suppose I should call TAC about this, but it doesn't really affect our
process, and I took the chance that someone here already had this problem
and knows a workaround.

We recently upgraded 4 CP30s to CP60s with FBI10Es, retaining our existing
100-series I/O. After we did the upgrade, we are unable to consistently see
the ROM revision levels on the FBMs using either frev or Sys Mgmt. One of
the CP60s is fine; all FBMs show ROM revision levels. Two of the CP60s show
revision levels on some, but not all, of the FBMs. The fourth CP60 shows no
revision levels.

I have rebooted the host AW, to no avail. System software version is 6.3,
as are the CP images. The problem doesn't seem to be limited to any
particular FBM type; we have 01s, 04s, 07s, and 09s.

Anyone had this happen to them?
