Mike,
Yes we did resolve this issue. It turned out in our case that it was
being caused by the PLC ENBT cards dropping out. We had the
controllogix chassis high in a sealed enclosure. Whenever the
temperature in the enclosure got much over 110 degF the ENBT cards
would start to fail which would cause problems on the I/A side. The
funny thing was when we hooked up an ethernet monitor, we would never
get failures. When we took it off in about 6 hours we
would. (Because when we had the cable for the monitor hooked up, we
had the enclosure door propped open. Try troubleshooting that...)
But since you are just south of the Artic Circle, and it's cold even
here in Alabama, I doubt heat is the issue. Still you might want to
check the ENBT cards for errors, and make sure that all of the AB
configuration is correct.
