You may be ahead of this, but perhaps some of it will be useful:
There will be one ECB200 and eight ECB201 blocks (one per channel). In the DCI 
block (ROUT), the PNT_NO is not a number but is the text from table 5.4 page 39 
of the manual B0400FF, CURRENT is the only one for ROUT. I think you would use 
an RIN or STRIN to get data from the valve positioner.

Ferna,

See B0400FF Hart FBM User Guide.  There are a number of parameters in
both the ECB201 and connected DCI blocks that need to be configured
correctly.  A lot depends on if you are working with the 4-20mA signal,
Hart Variables, or both.
