Re: [foxboro] Exposing Aliases in FoxDraw 9.0

I've been told by Foxboro folk that putting Cygwin on a 70 box is not a
good idea. Guess it does some things to the path and registry that hoses
the MKS toolkit -- I dunno Which is too bad, 'cause Cygwin (or probably
even Microsoft's own Services for Unix) is better than Nutcracker...

I have never ported the xref utility to the 70 series platform. I will =
add
this to my free-time to-do list. Perhaps somebody "out there" in
Cassandra-Land has already done this, and will report back?

Since the utility is made up of Unix shell and awk scripts, I do not =
think
there would be much involved in the translation from 50 to 70 series.
If you do attempt the 50 to 70 series porting - I would recommend the =
free
cygwin package (www.cygwin.com) to make the AW70 Unix-like, and shy away
from nutcracker. You'll save yourself a lot of headaches.
