Anyway, it sound like you are trying to connect two OPC Servers and =
that
won't work. You need a client and a server.

If I'm correct - and I'm probably not - you need software like =
Matrikon's
OPC Data Handler (if I got the name right). This software allows two =
servers
to exchange data. Basically, it is a client for each. You have to =
configure
the ODH software to associate tags from the two servers.

Pretty neat stuff actually.

We are trying to send data from the Fix DataBase Builder by means of an =

toward a serer OPC (AXS4MMS of SISCO) located in another PC but =
connected to
the first by network Ethernet. =20
The address and location of the server OPC is recognized by the Fix =
DBB, but
it cannot write the fact. (Did the current value of the AI and of the =
AO
they do appear with"????") on the other hand one has an error message
"General I/O E" for the created AO. =20
Does somebody have some idea to solve this?
