Re: [foxboro] Exceed on windows

Dirk,
It might be the way Exceed is installed at our site. Our IT dept has it
being installed through NetInstaller, usually using the msi setup file
and not the setup.exe file or taking an image of a pc after Exceed was
installed and just copying the files that changed or were added (but
using a windows 2000 pc). I believe it is image method because Exceed
is not listed in my installed programs section when I go to Add/Remove
programs.

Also, I have checked the resolution settings. I am using true color
1024x768, same as I am using on my windows 2000 pc.

Thanks for the info,

We use Exceed 7.1 on many XP stations. It works fine, provided you load
a patch, available on the hummingbird site. Without this patch we
couldn't even install Exceed. I'm surprised you could install 6.2 on an
XP. Have you checked the resolution settings? Exceed doesn't seem to
work properly with DM's if you have a setting higher than 1024x768.
