Heh heh...yes.  From Foxboro, let alone external security threats.

Awhile back there was a problem with invalid configuration being allowed 
in some FCMs that could cause other CPs (i.e., those not hosting those 
FCMs) to have double-sided failures.  Foxboro did address this with a QF, 
but it reinforced my feeling that fieldbus and control network should not 
ride on the same wire.  You can separate them with VLANs, but that adds 
even more (potentially hidden) complexity to the system.

concern when the Fieldbus and Mesh share the same network?
