Roger,
You need to edit the file /usr/fox/wp/data/fv_cmds. Here you can define =
your own initial enviorment.
************************** EXTRACT START =
*****************************************
=3D=3D $DM_LOCAL N =3D CADUS "" # terminal
#
disable monitor # don't set OM monitoring variables
mount $TMHST # mount the logical host
dmcmd ojinit #
#$SYSDIR/Change_Env/Init_Env # call in initial environment
$OPTFOX/env/Initial.env # call in initial environment
# $ENV1 # call in configured first environment
# rev DGW 021199
$FV_ENV # call customised environment
=3D TCTOUT 10 # set on-line trend cfg timeout to 2 sec
$INITDSP # call in initial display
***************************** EXTRACT FINISH =
****************************************
The variable FV_ENV is a user DM global defined in =
/usr/fox/wp/data/init.user
********************* EXTRACT START =
*****************************
# Define the user start up environment for use in fv_cmds
FV_ENV=3D/opt/fox/env/Proc_Op_Env.env
***************** EXTRACT FINISH =
*************************************
Guess you could do this directly in the fv_cmds file just done this way =
for consistency. Note that fv_cmds is over written by a Foxview =
upgrade. =20

Subject: [foxboro] Display manager initial environment
The documentation on display manager configuration indicates one can
configure the initial environment for a DM via the DM type parameter.
However, I can not get this to work. I seem to remember this was a =
known
problem in the past, but I'm not sure. Does this work now (I'm at =
V6.1.1),
and if so, are there some tricks to it?
