Steve,
The reason I wanted to leave them in that directory is that many of
the displays call other displays with onscreen navigation
buttons. If I move them out into logical directories now, I would
have to edit (I know I could script it) all of the displays. Seems
like a lot of trouble. I chose the symbolic link, vs the hard link
because hard links do strange things when you delete the original
file (like still exist, which is hard to explain to the E&I guys).

I'm playing with the .mnu thing now, I'll see if I like that better.
Thanks for the idea though, forced me to brush up on the whole hard
link soft link thing.
