Adam,
In case you would like to spend money as opposed to rolling your own,
Foxboro Canada offers a package - WYSE - that among other things can display
I/A Series Graphics with updating data on generic PCs using a web browser.
Basically, it has a screen shot and knows where on the screen to place
updates.
It's actually quite useful for a variety of purposes. I've copied Sylvain
Nadeau who can provide you more information.

Subject: [foxboro] Display Manager Files
I'm considering a project to suck information out of Display Manager
files so that I can sort of reproduce the HMI screens site wide for all
to look at. The HMI screens are often the best way to have a look at
what is happening on the plant but of course usually only ops people
have access to them.
Does anybody know of a document describing the Display Manager file
format or is there a Foxboro utility to extract the relevant information
out of the these files?
Thanks in advance
