The program you want is
/usr/fox/wp/bin/tools/d_edit
It is described in standard documentation. I think the
name of the document is Display Urilities, or something
like that.
If you can't find the book and want to play with it, first
know that this program both reports on display files, and
modifies them, so you should use a dispensable copy of a
real file.

Subject: [foxboro] Display Manager Files
I'm considering a project to suck information out of Display Manager
files so that I can sort of reproduce the HMI screens site wide for all
to look at. The HMI screens are often the best way to have a look at
what is happening on the plant but of course usually only ops people
have access to them.
Does anybody know of a document describing the Display Manager file
format or is there a Foxboro utility to extract the relevant information
out of the these files?
Thanks in advance
