While I would NEVER attempt  to tell Alex how to run his business, 
making an FBM 241+ that would handle extra I/O might help people 
migrate without deciding it's cheaper to by a FDSI and put the 
discrete stuff in a cough cough controllogix or something....... I 
mean the migration path for the extended PLB ladders is just ugly, 
and lots of people used them.
