On our 6.5 system, there is an utility supplied by Foxboro:
/opt/fox/bin/tools/db_sync/check_db_sync CP0001
Thanks to Bob Adams for letting me know.

Subject: [foxboro] Database Mismatch
FYI....Foxboro has scripts available to check for database mismatches
between the checkpoint file, work file and CSA contents. Contact Angel
Corbera at Foxboro Tac for the scripts. It is called "check_sync63",
reference HH980 for help in fixing what the scripts find.
Thanks,
