Re: [foxboro] Cursor Lockups

To get the cursor working again just unplug the mouse/trackball and
replug...simple.

The real issue was "what was locking up the cursor". I guess I was just
overjoyed by finding the cause that I failed to mention the solution.

Hi Michael,

You said you resolved the problem, but only described the probable cause of
the lock-up. How do you actually solve the lock-up problem? Do you have to
reboot the WPs?

When the cursor locks up, do you still have control of the keyboard? Or vice
versa, when the keyboard locks up (if it does), do you still have control of
the mouse?

Just to let everyone know. We have finally resolved the issue with our
"cursors" locking up on our WP51D boxes.

The hand held radios (walkie talkies) will lock up the cursor if the
transmitting radio is near/touching the trackball/mouse cable while that
radio is "transmitting" or "being "keyed".

Hope this helps others who may have been experiencing similar problems.
