As you rightly guessed, I am not a user of Invensys Process
Systems'Distributed Control Systems!! And I am sorry to have posted Unix
queries on this list. I faced a hardware problem with my Unix box and when
searched for a solution on the Web, happened to see couple of solutions on
this list. Assuming that this was a Unix Admin list, I subscribed. Rest
assured, I shall not post any queries here after!
Thanx
Varsha

It says so right on the welcome message you received when you subscribed to
this list:
Foxboro Mailing List
The Foxboro mailing list, <foxboro@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>, is intended as a
medium for users of Invensys Process Systems' (formerly The Foxboro
Company) Distributed Control Systems to engage in self-help -- users
helping users. Topics mostly revolve around the I/A product platform,
but discussion about other Foxboro products is also welcome and
encouraged. It is the communication tool of The Cassandra Project
(www.thecassandraproject.org), home of the Foxboro user community.
I don't know how you stumble upon this list, but it's fairly obvious you
aren't a Foxboro I/A customer. I won't ask you to leave and you're welcome
to lurk. However, if you wish to participate in the list, please keep your
questions relevant to the objective of this list. Thank you!
