Subject: Re: [foxboro] Comm Question

Hi Brian,

We've done it! I'll see if I can get the exact model of the MicroLogix
processor, but we have definitely used a MicroLogix to FBM232 with the same
EthernetIP driver that is used for a ControlLogix processor. In fact we
communicated with the Controllogix and MicroLogix connected to the same FDSI
going through a switch. I might have all the gear to run this in our lab
again, if we have a spare MicroLogix. Anyway it worked with no issues beyond
the usual FDSI issues that are inherent with the product.

Regards,
David

We may be forced to use an AB Micrologix 1400 (Ethernet available for comm) for
a small project. Has anyone tried to interface with an FDSI?
Thanks,
