Re: [foxboro] CP60 vs IEC61508 safety requirements

Scott,
I have been having the same problems for some time. Never really caused a bad
issue but is becoming annoying for operators. What is the latest FCM
Firmware,CP60 image?
We are using the fiber hubs.
I have a history of the PIO stats and they seem normal.

Hi All
We are facing intermittent " PIO Bus Access error on A" and "PIO Bus Access
error on B" and this returns by itself. We used to have these type of system
alarms once or twice a week, but today this is sounding back to back. We are
using CP60 FT with 200 Series FBMs and FCMs with fibre optic cable and fibre
optic converter switches fro communication between CP and FCMs. The system
is using both the busses alternatively but with each trasnition it sounds
system alarm with above message every time with a new letterbug of FBMs.
Does anybody has any idea how to fight the problem?
Thanks
Waseem
