Re: [foxboro] CP60 Field bus problems

We're at 1.16 on the FBI10E's but I will check for the QF on Monday.
I did find a bad coax connection today were the shield was not properly
fitted around the connector when crimped. I hate to say it but, I think I
put this connector together last year. :(

Thanks for the input.

James,
I agree with the comments of Mr. Bakker regarding checking the Customer
Advisories.

We installed QF1007465B which contains an iom82 file with an EEPROM 1.16
back in August of 2006. In my opinion, this single QF did more to reduce
PIO bus errors on the CP60 than anything else we've tried. We didn't
bother with the grounding kits once we applied this QF because the PIO
errors were dramatically reduced. Obviously, this leads me to conclude
that the installation was not the problem.

I don't know what rev(s) your system is at, but if the FCM, FBI, DCM, or
WFCM modules are less than 1.16 this might help.

Best of Luck,
