Early on we had pio errors and I believe it was due to having one
cabinet having A and B bus switched. You should be able to verify that
all fieldbus cabinets are talking on the correct bus. We were able to
look at the TX and RX lights to verify.

Subject: [foxboro] CP60 Field bus problems
Does anyone have on-going PIO errors on their CP60 field bus? We have
CP60's with 100 series I/O. Multiple drops to racks scattered over the
plant but, within spec. Fiber jumps between buildings (racks) but no
more
than two. I/O loading is within spec. I have had some of the best in
Foxboro look at it and no answers. The only way to cut down on the
nuisance
alarms is to run one good bus and disable switching. I have one CP that
will run fault tolerant for an average of 14 days before it goes single.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
