Re: [foxboro] CMP:BLK

My personal preference to create a compound for each graphic, giving the
compound a name that makes it easy to associate to it's graphic. Has made
it easy for others to find and follow up when problems arise.

CP60, according to the spec sheets can hold 4000 blocks, compounds
included. It's best to use the Ivensys CPload excel file to calculate
the CP load. If you have a lot of I/o's, blocks, sequences etc, it might
be better to divide over 2 CP's to keep the load as low as possible. Use
period/phasing, digital blocks executing evere 0.5 sec is not really
necessary I guess. We use periods 1 up to 4. Our compounds are all in
period 1 though.

We have started to program a new CP60.
My question, is there a limit to the number of compounds?
Is it better to have few cmp with lots of blks, or lots of cmps each
with a few blks?
Terry
