The save_all utility that Ron and his friends wrote is fantastic.  I have
used it on I/A 6.x and 7.x and also on a windows server under V8.  I had my
own save all scripts but have changed to this.  It is very well written, and
is well documented.  It may also save device files for modbus and profibus
FBMs.  I haven't managed to find the free beer Ron mentioned in it yet
though.
