I'm not sure that I understand, but options would include:
1) Write a script to use omgetimp/omsetimp to move the data for you.
2) Write to a IND block and have it move the data to the right places
3) Write a DM script to do the deed.
Does this help?

Subject: [foxboro] Background Text object SET CONTENT
Hi List,
In Foxdraw what is a dmcmd alternative to SET TEXT CONTENT of background text
object? I need to set the numeric value of a background text object to
whatever the Operator is entering on the FV into a MATH block .RI01 and then I
also need to get that same MATH.RO04 and set that RO04 into a DGAP's GAPDB?
Is the only way to do this a 2-object process? For example, the first step is
to get the background text's display contents into RI01; then a 2nd object --
perhaps a rectangle that resembles a button -- must be clicked by the
Operator to do an omset of the MATH.RO04 into the DGAP's GAPDB?
TAC said there is no published solution of an alternative to SET TEXT/NUMERIC
CONTENT.
Thank you so much.
