Re: [foxboro] Autologoff on NT based station

There is a Korn shell script (full disclosure: I wrote it :) on Cassandra
(www.thecassandraproject.com) to do this. It looks for changes in $PICK1
and the display name periodically to test for inactivity in the DM/FV. It
should run in the NT MKS shell, but I've never tried it. It just kills
the DM/FV window, however; it doesn't log the user out of NT.
The guys at Feedforward have a more elegant compiled solution that looks
for X events, but I think it's Unix-only: www.feedforward.com.

And there are probably shareware/freeware programs out there for NT to log
people off or kill generic applications due to inactivity; may or may not
work depending on what you are trying to do.
