Re: [foxboro] Auto paging on alarm events

We aer not paging directly, but we are doing this with email (which I use
with Verizon's gateway to send SMS to my cell phone, and used in the past
with the pager provider's gateway to send messages to my pager). In one
case, we use Foxboro's Event Driven Scripts product. It is a ready-to-go
package (some reading and configuration required) and can generate
messages on nearly any system event, but it has its limitations. In
another case, I have HLBL code invoking a shell script on an AW to send
the emails. Both methods work reliably.

[foxboro] Auto paging on alarm events

Hello list,
I am looking for a method of sending a pager alert when an alarm is
received. Figured somebody on this list is doing something similar.

Thanks,
David Nimmons
