Unfortunately we didn't get any of the slide presentations to take home, 
they did show different scenarios.  I'm all for this migration path, but I 
need pictures to spark my memory and show the managers which way we should 
be headed and why.

I understood that I can replace a B box workstation with the following 
minimum setup :

Nodebus -->Dual NCNIs-->(ethernet fiber)-->RCNI-->(ethernet copper)-->XP 
or Solaris workstation

NCNI is nodebuse to ethernet extenders.
RCNI is similar to DNBT or DNBI function

For the acronym challenged this is what I have in my notes:
NCNI = Nodebus Control Network Interface 
RCNI = Redundant Control Network Interface
XP = eXPerience (per Microsoft)
