Re: [foxboro] ArchestrA related question

Check the CD that was in your briefcase. It has a number of PSSs related to
the gear in Demo 23 (where the new equipment was).

        Unfortunately we didn't get any of the slide presentations to take
home,
        they did show different scenarios. I'm all for this migration path,
but I
        need pictures to spark my memory and show the managers which way we
should
        be headed and why.

        I understood that I can replace a B box workstation with the
following
        minimum setup :

        Nodebus -->Dual NCNIs-->(ethernet fiber)-->RCNI-->(ethernet
copper)-->XP
        or Solaris workstation

        NCNI is nodebuse to ethernet extenders.
        RCNI is similar to DNBT or DNBI function

        For the acronym challenged this is what I have in my notes:
        NCNI = Nodebus Control Network Interface
        RCNI = Redundant Control Network Interface
        XP = eXPerience (per Microsoft)
