The default Annunciator behavior is to silence the horn wherever any key is pressed. Just helps to stop the noise. You can change this by making modification to a config file on the 50 or 70 Series box. The file to look for is found in the directory /usr/fox/wp/data and the settings are in the wp51_glbls file (not sure if I spelled that correct though. However, this file is a system file and will possibly be overwritten by a newer version of I/A series software. The better place would then be to create/modify the file init.user or if that does not exist init.user.rel in the same directory. Make sure to rename the file to init.user if you want the system to use it. There is a catch though, I can't give you directions from home which parameter to change. I think if you search for a term like annunciator you will be sent in the right direction. The file itself is well documented. BTW. edits to either wp51_glbls or init.user require a reboot ;-( Hope this has helped a bit, Regards Ron Deen (Invensys) On Sunday 18 January 2004 01:48, you wrote: > I don't know of a way to do it, but perhaps someone else does. > > Regards, > > Alex Johnson > Invensys Systems, Inc. > 10707 Haddington > Houston, TX 77043 > 713.722.2859 (office) > 713.722.2700 (switchboard) > 713.932.0222 (fax) > ajohnson@xxxxxxxxxxx > For the latest information on ArchestrA, go to > www.invensys.com/Archestra.html. > > -----Original Message----- > From: foxboro-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:foxboro-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] > On Behalf Of Weiss, Andreas > Sent: Saturday, January 17, 2004 8:41 AM > To: foxboro@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: Re: [foxboro] Annunciator Keyboard LEDs > > > Alarms are not acknowledged by pressing the "the red (the one with the > > little red trumpet on it) button".
