The ACK_HORN global was last stated in the 4.3/6.1 Release Notes
Enhancements and Problems Resolved section 4.5.29
4.5.29 Alarm Alert
CAR#8402 IALOG#8298 Synopsis:
The Alarm Alert subsystem allows the user to configure whether or not the
horn is
silenced when an annunciator key is pressed. If the global ACK_HORN = N is
defined in the /usr/fox/wp/bin/data/init.user file, when an operator presses
an annun-
ciator key when the horn is sounding, the horn is not silenced. If the
global is not
defined, pressing an annunciator key continues to silence the horn.
