Re: [foxboro] Alternative to I/A printer

Rich,
Is this the same product that Ted has posted on the Cassandra Web site or
did you have to purchase this package? The reason I ask is because the one
I downloaded does not have the Control Configuration functionality.

Thanks,

Stan,
We recently installed an excellent product for this purpose from Real
Time Solutions (Ted.Jirik@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx). This "Real Time Message Server
and Configuration Data Archive" runs on a server PC. It collects (via the
2nd ethernet of the AW's) and archives long-term all of the process and
system alarms from our I/A system (12 nodes) as well as operator action
messages. The Server has its own Web site and presents this I/A
information in fast and easy-to-use Web format to anyone interested in our
mill, with a number of filters, sorts, traps, and reports available to
narrow down to just what we are looking for.

In addition, the Server also collects all of the Control Configuration
from the I/A Lan. This allows us to search for and view any blocks, to see
cross-references to/from other blocks, sequence blocks, and displays, to
see tuning parameter history, etc.
