Re: [foxboro] Allen Bradley Gateway

Some information from GCS website regarding the error message;  
parameters and values may not be similar to your particular gateway  
hardware/software:

   "could not open xmit request to queue ID 7 error code is 13", can
   you explain the meaning of this error.

   This problem is the result of using too large a value in parameter
   PIOWDT. This parameter defines the timeout  period in seconds the
   gateway will wait for a response from a PLC.  Using a value of 10 and
   having the BPC of .5, will allow the DATA  REQUEST queue (ID7) to
   fillup (error code 13) when the PLC response  takes longer than 7
   seconds. This queue is sized to accept upto 10 entries.  Using a BPC of
   .5 seconds the queue will fill up in 6 seconds when a  PLC is slow in
   responding.  At the beginning of every Block Control Cycle(BPC) an
   entry is made into  the DATA REQUEST queue to retrieve data for the
   next BPC. When the  queue size has been exceeded the gateway will use
   old data from the last  good response.
