Re: [foxboro] Alarms priority

Others have added PRIORITY to the Description field. Bit of a task to =
get started.

In third party Alarm Management tools that read the serial port (alarm =
printer message) they can search for this number in a specific part of =
the description field and sort your alarms based on priority. And =
provide other statistics based on priority.

Objet=A0: Re: [foxboro] Alarms priority

We went through this same issue and our answer was to configure the =
Alarm =3D
Name (ANM) parameter in the blocks with the priority number. Now when =
the =3D
alarm prints out it comes out Compound:Block.ANM where the ANM contains =
=3D
the number 1 thru 5 depending on the alarm priority of the block. This =
=3D
caused extra work, but it is one way to have the priority to print out.
