You could try a perl script.  I think perl is included with MKS, but it
may not have the ODBC module included.  I have used PHP and ODBC to get
alarm information from an off platform aim historian, not sure if it is
wise to install PHP on a windows Foxboro box.

is there a way to have the alarm info sent to a text file on an 8.x
system from a command line utility?
