The application Visual Alert, sold by Total Technologies Solutions, Inc
(www.2tsi.com) is a very inexpensive printer substitute program. Since
there are no priorities in the alarm message, Visual Alert can be set up to
key on any text within a message to set the color of the alarm line on its
display. With a little effort, you can set up any keyword in your alarm
messages to trigger these different colors. An example I have seen used is
to put the priority in the ANM or DESC parameter as 'PRI1'.
