Re: [foxboro] Additional DM with X-Windows

Hi Ignacio,

Connecting to another AW can be simple and insecure, or a little fancier
with a little more security.

If you want to connect for yourself as the system administrator, just type
the following into any shelltool or commandtool window:

  rlogin -l ia XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX

and then respond to the login prompt with your ia user's password.

In the above, rlogin (remote login) is followed by a dash or minus sign, a
small case letter "L", and the IP address of the other AW or WP. You can
also use the other computer's name as long as it is in the /etc/host file.
I personally use the IP address because it is easier for me to keep track of
which computer and which Ethernet connection I am using. I always use the
second Ethernet connections to avoid loading the Nodebus.

If you want to set up something for someone else to use, you can set up a
menu item to open up a shelltool to access the other computer.
