Re: [foxboro] AW70X SOFT CP NOT WORKING

The AFB70 soft loaded correctly, I included it in Sysdef and got no errors
on the installation logs.
My AW has 2 network cards, one of them used for Nodebus and connected to a
DNBT. I know for sure that this is working, because I was able to
program/monitor the GW30 installed on the nodebus node with ICC,I could
browse the compounds from FoxSelect and monitor them from Foxview.

The nodebus node is configured as a Mixed Mode Node (MNODE). As regards as
the AW, I tested 2 configurations: I/A Series Nodebus and Ethernet Nodebus,
with the same results in both cases (when I choose Ethernet Nodebus the word
"SNGL" shows in SMDH above AWCAP1).

I was about to install the MS Loopback adapter and re-commit, just in case
the AW70X needed this to initialize the soft CP (create the STA and ECB
compounds)......

Note: I made my installation from scratch on a new hard disk, starting with
WNT 4.0 SP5, Day 0 NT Nodebus 6.4, upgrade to 6.5.1, etc. Is there any
licensing issue? The installation never asked me for my license
diskettes.... This machine originally had an AW70A installation that was
working OK.

Thanks to everybody for your help
