Re: [foxboro] AW70 print to I/A printer LP01

Andreas,

Try:

C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Accessories\Wordpad.exe /P
D:\path\path\file.txt

This presumes that you want to print a flat ascii file anmed file.txt. I
never tried anything more complex.

You set up the printer LP01 as the default before running the command.
If you schedule this command in a batch file, it will open a cmd shell
briefly on you screen. When I schedule these reports, I use the user
Administrator and since the Administrator is not logged into the
station, the cmd pop-up does not pop up on your screen.

Terry

Dear List,

how is it possible to print to the I/A printer port LP01 from the
command line on an AW70?

The Solaris lp doesn't exist and lpr.exe doesn't work in my
configuration.

Regards,
Andreas
