You may need a new NVRAM. If the machine is more than 5 years old, the lithium 
battery may be gone. The NVRAM will need to be programmed for the original 
machine ID. PCS can supply programmed NVRAMs if needed.

Try the following.
1. When you see the "auto-revarp" message, try 
  Hit the "control+c" keys at the same time to 
  Continue past the message.

If that doesn't work is it possible you need to set the NVRAM parameters to 
Defaults?

following message before it reboots:
