Re: [foxboro] ATS and nodebus loading

If I understand correctly you have AIN.MEAS in CP40 linked to AIN.PNT in
FCP270 and you have lot's of them.

I'm not 100% sure about the next assumption but I think connecting a remote
link to an AIN.MEAS could cause high traffic if you have lot's of them. The
AIN does not have a DELTI for the .MEAS and therefore the source FCP270
value will be send each block-cycle. So if you have your FCP270 AIN blocks
at 0.5 sec. and have quite a number of these linked to your CP40 AIN.MEAS's
you could cause significant traffic.

It's just an Idea. I could be wrong!
We had to do something similar and created dummy sequence blocks in the
receiving CP (in your case the CP40). Connected these to the source AIN.RAWC
and set DELTI1 in the receiving sequence block to something like 0.5% of the
range. Then connected the receiving AIN.MEAS to the SEQENCE.RI0001, RI0002
... etc.
In this case we were pretty sure that now al values were transmitted each
block cycle.

Also keep a close eye on your CP40 resources!

Just an Idea,
