Re: [foxboro] AIMHistData.xla

There is an Excel setting located in the Security Dialog Box for Macros you
need to change. In Excel 2000 its in Tools --> Macro --> Security -->
Then choose the Security Level tab and check the security level of Low.

Subject: [foxboro] AIMHistData.xla

Hi List
I am using the Excel AIMHistData.xla add-in to get historical data from AIM.
I want to run some automated data retrieval but everytime excel starts up
the AIMHistData.xla add-in warns that the add-on should be opened in read
only mode. I run excel with the visible property set to false, and this
causes the add-in not to load properly as the read-only prompt does not get
responded to.
Is there any way to stop this prompt from appearing?

Thanks for the help.
Paul
