Here is the information on our various OPC clients and servers. As you can
see, it does not support Alarm and Events.

Part No: Q0301HT - the AW70 OPC I/O Gate
Client Interface
Description: Compliant to V1.0 of the OPC
specification
Status: Available for AW70 for approximately
2 years. Certified by Foxboro.
PSS: Under development, but a PSS for a
similar (almost identical) product is available. See 21S 6D6 B3
User's Guide: Yes.
Performance: 600 updates per second; total
points limited by # of control blocks allowed in the AW.

part no), HDA (Historical Data Access) (Q0301UU only). Both products support
V1.0 Spec, and OPC Clients V1.0 and later. Certified by Foxboro. It does not
require the installation of AIM*Historian for operation.
Status: Released.
PSS/User's Guide: PSS 21S-6D10 B4.
Host: AW-70 or off-platform NT machine talking to either an
AW-70 or AW-51
