Haha - it's 6am here - a bit early to be on the piss!

Hmm - interesting!  What is the network master browser?
I think probably not the same - in this case Matrikon OPC Explorer knows the
AIM* OPC server and is on the same box, it just can't communicate with it
for some reason.
