Re: [foxboro] ACM trouble

We keep having problems with our ACM, even with the latest quickfix. =
The
only way to recover them, as you=B4ve figured out, is rebooting.
We have two CARs opened, but until now Invensys haven=B4t fixed them.=20
Be carefull, because in some situations ACMs stop updating, values and
alarms, without any visible evidence, so the safety of your plant could =
be
jeopardized if you send alarms to DCS throuh ACMs.

I was alerted to communications errors on 1 of our 3 ACMs by System =3D
Management.
Also some WPs had ACM data smurfed; other WPs seemed to get the data =
ok.
Ultimately found zero idle time on 2 of the ACMs, the other had reduced =
=3D
idle time (45%).

Re-booting both the shadow & primary ACMs at the same time from sys =3D
management
seems to have cleared all problems & idle time back to ~70% (re-booted =
=3D
all 3).

Anyone with similar experience?..ideas?
