        I just tried it with an FBM205 redundancy adapter and although you
can fit it in the left side, (slot 1 and 2) and still get a cable on it, the
205 redundancy adapter gets in the way of the cable that connects to slot 3
because the cables extend to the left. (OOPS! Brain Fart)  Slot 4 is okay
because the cable connector is offset to the right about an inch. If you
place the redundancy adapter in slots 7 and 8 it is not a problem for slot 5
and 6.  They may have solved this problem with newer style cables.  It
should be doable with a different cable design.  How about it Foxboro design
or sales guys?

I have a question on the newest/latest/greatest 200 series baseplates
and redundant FBMs for all the I/A gurus out there.  Our configuration
will have an 8 slot horizontal baseplate with two FBM246s in slots 1 and
2, with a redundancy adapter.  This baseplate will be mounted on the
Foxboro 19" rack mount adapter plate, which is offset into the panel and
leaves basically zero clearance on the left (and right) side of the
baseplate.  Will this physically work?  Reliable word of mouth has it
that the earlier generation baseplates and/or redundancy adapters and/or
cable assemblies had an interference if installed in slots 1/2 or 7/8 in
this configuration.  Is this a fact or just another I/A Myth on the
latest hardware?  Any input or (relevant) comments will be appreciated.
