Re: [foxboro] 1770-KF2 CAM

Tham,

Have you checked the OM lists?

/opt/fox/bin/tools/rsom. See HH384 as well.

You may be overloaded if more stations are accessing this gateway.

Subject: [foxboro] 1770-KF2 CAM

Hi List--

Had a problem and thought I'd check in.

Our I/A system is having a problem communicating with a network for 4
SLC504 PLC's (1770-KF2 CAM to a gateway 30B). The IOLOAD on the gateway
jumps up to a crazy 600+ value then the points from the PLC's smurf out
in FV.

With no success, we have tried:

1. Confirm adequate period/phase settings.
2. Taking the devices off/on line in SMDH.
3. Rebooting the gateway, hard and soft.
4. Rebooting the CAM.

Given that it's a Friday, we opted not to swap the CAM from another PLC
network that is communicating okay. That will be done Monday.

On the CAM, I noticed that the XMTNG LED blinks on and off while the RDY
LED behaves in the opposite manner. The RCVNG LED stays lit throughout.
I'm thinking that the problem is with pushing data out to the PLC
network.

Has anyone encounter this problem or something similar?

Thanks!

t
