[foxboro] extraneous files?

Hi list,
I have just started new year file system clean up.I have removed .dmp and
.core files and was wondering if there are any other file types that can
safely be removed. I have AW51C and WP51A unix boxes.Also are there any
useful tools for this sort of job hidden away on the system anywhere.
