[foxboro] dedit from a command window for FoxView displays

Hello all,
 

I am trying to use dedit in FoxView from command line and I haven't had lucky. 
I have a telnet session with an AW51D and I am running the application in a sh 
environment. The command line I am using is:

 

# dedit -R <filename>

 

Is there something I am missing here? The idea is use dedit in a shell script 
to perform an automatic report of a selected list of files. I know from the 
B0193WG document that dedit generates a log file in the current directory but I 
don't have anything after I run it.

 

Any helps would be grateful.
