Hi list,
I am trying to troubleshoot a potential FBM problem on one of our I/A v8.2 XP
systems and need to check counters for all FBMs under various ZCPs. Since I
will need to check a large number of FBMs, I would like to use the frev tool,
"/opt/fox/bin/tools/frev -d<smonname> -s@ -p@ > <filename>", since using SMDH
to get these parameters would take me hours. Before I start down the path of
creating a script to parse this output file into a usable report, I was
wondering if anyone out there has already developed anything similar. I am
looking to put at least the diagnostic parameters into columns and could write
some VBA code in Excel to do this, but maybe someone has already done something
that I could use or build upon. I am very interested in any tools that may
have been developed for this already. By the way, I do have QF1008130
installed to fix the pc and frev commands for I/A v8.2 XP.
The frev command produces one long output file with the following as an example
of the contents:
SYSMON NAME : SMA201
