[foxboro] Visual Alert Users

If currently using Visual Alert as a paperless printer replacement for I/A, you
may be interested in another of Bo's Cool Tools.
I have written the VA Companion, a desktop tool to aid in post-event analysis,
that works with the log files produced by Visual Alert.

Please visit www.2tsi.com and check out the VA Companion in the software
section.

BTW, those of you who know me may wonder why I haven't sounded up on the
Foxboro Digest discussion. It's quite simple. I've had this discussion
several times before (actually since early 1987) and I've always felt that
arguing the benefits of Windoz over Xnix is like arguing the benefits of Shwin
over Harley where process control is concerned. We all know they both get you
where you're going, it's just a matter of effort.

Now, with the independence of retirement, I am still writing software for I/A
users but refuse to develop for the Windoz AW. Of course, I'm not selling a
lot of software so go figure.
