Re: Solaris 10 on the Mesh
As we said in San Antonio, this should be available mid-2006, but the
project is not far enough along to offer a hard date. It is funded, staffed,
and under way.
Re: Redundant AB-GW
The DI30-FT is the replacement for the redundant AB-GW under V6/7.
Under V8.x, there will be an FDSI FBM for AB DH by the end of the year and a
ControlLogix FDSI within 12 months.

Isn't everyone. I would like to buy I/A V. 8.1 for Unix. We currently
have a FUNDED project (yes I know that seems to be rare, but its
true) that we would love to have all the latest and greatest stuff for,
but I have not been told of any date that 8.1 will be available for
Unix yet........
By the way, for us Unix guys what is the recomended replacement
for redundant allen bradley gateways, since the FBM 224's aren't
redundant? Also what will be the protocol for talking to Control Logix
in the future (perhaps something better than Modbus)?
You are working late tonight Alex.
